Introductory Flights
60 Minute Flight
The 60 minute flight is perfect for those who want an extended taste of the thrill of flying, especially if you plan to go for a Pilots Licence. With your Instructor, your Introductory Flight begins with a look at your aircraft and you will be briefed on the basic controls. Once aboard the instructor will start the engine and after clearance you will taxi out to the Runway. Shortly after take-off at around 1000 feet, you will have the opportunity to take control of the aircraft yourself, under instruction of course!!. Subject to weather conditions, you may fly out towards the coast near Southport and Blackpool, or around the Winter Hill Area to the North. We are unable to fly over the City of Manchester or towards Manchester International Airport. On returning to the airfield your Instructor will land the aircraft. After the flight, you will be presented with a Certificate to remember the flight and further information should you with to take up flying lessons.
The 60 minute Introductory Flight is available for £155.
30 Minute Flight
The 30 minute flight is a great way to sample the thrill of flying. With your Instructor, your Introductory Flight begins with a look at your aircraft and you will be briefed on the basic controls. Once aboard, your instructor will start the engine and after clearance you will taxi out to the Runway. Shortly after take-off at around 1000 feet, you will have the opportunity to take control of the aircraft yourself.
Your exciting flight will take you around the local area and then back to the airfield where your Instructor will land the aircraft. After the flight, you will be presented with a Certificate to remember the flight along with further information should you wish to take up flying lessons.
The 30 minute Introductory Flight is available for £110.
Your instructor will be able to answer any questions you may have throughout the flight.
