Terms and Conditions

The Voucher
1. All vouchers are valid for 6 months from the date of purchase
2. Bookings are made by calling 0161 787 7326 between 09:00-17:00 Monday to Saturday and 09:00-1600 on Sundays.
3. If the flight is cancelled due to poor weather, it can be rebooked by calling the flying school on 0161 787 7326 during the hours stated in (2).
4. Vouchers may be extended by 2 months at a cost of £23.50.
5. If the voucher is cancelled due to weather or technical reasons on behalf of LAC Flying School, a charge will not be incurred to extend the voucher.
6. The voucher will become void if not used during the validity period/extension period.
7. Vouchers may be upgraded, provided enough notice is given.
8. Upon arrival on the date of lesson, a valid voucher must be presented.
9. For the 4 seat voucher, 1 interested observer may be carried in addition to the voucher holder, subject to weight restrictions.
10. If a voucher is lost or stolen, it is at LAC Flying Schools discretion whether the flight is allowed to go ahead or not.

Height and Weight Restrictions
1. Height and weight restrictions apply to the 2 seat aircraft. These are 6’2” and 13 stone respectively.
2. Should the voucher holder exceed the above height and weight restrictions, an upgrade charge will be incurred.

Cancellation Policy
1. A minimum of 48 hours notice is required for the cancellation of a booking. If a booking is cancelled with less than 48 hours notice, a cancellation fee of £30.00+VAT will be incurred. A no show is also charged at £30.00+VAT
2. Rearranging a cancelled flight should be made by calling 0161 787 7326 during the hours stated above.
3. LAC Flying School reserves the right to cancel a flight due to technical issues or poor weather.

Refunds
1. Trial lesson vouchers are non-refundable, any other refunds are subject to a standard administration charge.

Privacy
LAC take data protection very seriously and do not pass on personal details to any other 3rd party. We will only use the information that we collect about you lawfully (in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998).
