The flying school has access to the services of a CAA appointed medical examiner who can do both initial and renewal medicals. Please contact our reception on 0161 787 7326 to make an appointment.

For all medical examinations, the following is required;

Own Doctor's details, including name, address, postcode, telephone number.
Urine sample in a chemically clean container.
If applicable, optician's prescription for glasses.

For initial (1st ever) examinations.

Blood test (haemoglobin level) done within the last three months.
Photographic identification.
ECG-trace +report by a Cardiologist done within the last three months, the medical examiner can arrange this for you.

NB An ECG may also be required for a renewal if so indicated on an expiring certificate.
