Ground School Course for the IMC Rating and AOPA Radio Navigation Certificate
Starts 25th September 2007 for 12 Tuesday evening sessions 1930-2130hrs. Cost £240.00
VFR Navigation Course for the PPL
Starts 1st October 2007 for 5 Monday
evening sessions 1930-2130hrs. Cost £100.00
Meteorology Course for the PPL
Will take place over three evening sessions in January 2008. Dates to be advised. Cost £60.00
Radio Navigation Course for the PPL
Will take place over two evening sessions in February 2008. Date to be advised. Cost £40.00
Radiotelephony Made Easy
Two-day comprehensive radiotelephony course the last two Sunday's of each month. Cost £178.00 (which includes test fees)
SAFETY PILOT COURSES - BACK BY POPULAR DEMAND!
Available to anybody who regularly flies with PPL's and would likle to learn how to land the airplane from the right-hand seat in the event of an incapacitation of the pilot-in-command.
You will learn radio procedures to be guided back to the airfield safely.
This is a 5-hour course, Lancashire Aero Club members especially welcome.
You can also complete the Radiotelephony course and after passing the written and oral examination you will be issued with a stand alone radio licence.
